Update 9/8/09 Operation Lift The Jaguars Blackout

The ticket drive to get the Jacksonville Municipal Stadium sold out continues. Once again the morning show team over at 1010 XL are asking all "Googans" listeners of the SFR morning show with Dan Hicken, Jeff Prosser and former Jaguars left tackle Tony Boselli to purchase at least two ticket to the Jaguars home opener against the Arizona Cardinals.

This morning they wanted to remind all Googans that they can head over to http://www.googanout.com and grab an official T-Shirt for $10 + shipping.


With each shirt sold $2.00 will be donated back to the cause to purchase more tickets. So make sure to make this happen. "YES WE CAN!!" we can sell out the Jaguars stadium and have the game on TV.

Operation Lift the Jaguars Blackout | Screw The NFL

Today the Trio over at SFR 1010 XL radio Tony Boselli, Dan Hicken, and Jeff Prosser made a call out to the Googans Nation and announced "Operation Lift the Jaguars Blackout and Screw the NFL".

With 10 regular season blackout looming for the Jaguars football team due to sluggish season ticket sales and cancellations of thousands of long time season ticket holders because of the recession, the three morning hosts have announced a ticket drive to get radio listeners known as "Googans" to purchase at least two tickets to the Jaguars home opener on September 20th 2009 against the Defending NFC Champions and Super Bowl participants Arizona Cardinals.

Using the Motto "Yes We Can!" is the battle cry to get the stadium sold out and prove to the rest of the country that Jacksonville is truly an NFL city and passionate about their football team.

It reminds me of the ticket drive in 1994 to sell 10000 club seats in 10 days to prove our passion for the NFL.

It's time to step up and make this happen.

Put off the golf game for a week, take the lunch instead of buying out and buy a seat.
